Villa Anna, Uppsala
Villa Anna is a small 11-room city hotel located in a quiet part of Uppsala, the fourth biggest city in Sweden. There are three suites, seven double rooms and one single room at Villa Anna. I was lucky to stay in one of their stunning suites.
Location: Uppsala, Sweden.
Notes About My Experience:
- Amazing suite with comfortable bed, sauna, jacuzzi tub, rain shower and two flatscreen TVs.
- Complimentary fast Wi-Fi.
- Food is a big part of the experience here. Although Villa Anna’s restaurant is part of the White Guide as one of the best restaurants in Sweden, it exceeded my expectations. Better than many of the Michelin-starred restaurants I have experienced in the past, but not only great taste but also a high level of creativity. Have you ever tried mustard ice cream? Now I have, thanks to Villa Anna’s creativity at their beautiful contemporary restaurant. Villa Anna uses a lot of organic and local produce; even their drink list includes organic wines and drinks.
- Friendly service at all times. The girl who checked me in, the man who served the dinner, the chef who served me the dessert, the night receptionist and Karolina who served me breakfast and is currently the receptionist as I am about to check out after a truly wonderful experience at Villa Anna.
Duration of Stay/Visit: One night.
My Opinion: Great+ experience. One of the better city hotels I have stayed in the world.
