The Victoria Falls Hotel

The Victoria Falls Hotel, a historic gem in Zimbabwe, epitomizes colonial elegance near the iconic Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls Hotel is an old classical hotel with a history dating back to its opening in 1904. It is located in town, just a few minutes from Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. The hotel has recently been renovated, and I liked most about the design and its history. The service is charming, and the place has its own unique character.

Arrival experience: I arrived on the Rovos Rail train with lots of other passengers. It was pretty hectic, but I received my room key after 10 minutes. I was not escorted to the room.
