Steel House – A Luxury Hostel in Copenhagen

I have stayed at many different kinds of accommodation in my travels. Luxury hotels, basic hotels, Airbnb’s, B&B’s, hostels with dorm beds, hostels in a private room, and now I can add a luxury hostel to the list. Steel House is a unique concept by the Arp-Hansen Hotel Group. Located in the heart of Copenhagen, only a short walk from the central train station. Steel House has an attractive New Yorker-inspired design, 253 rooms in total, including 64 two-bedrooms, 54 four-bed rooms and 135 six-bed rooms.

I stayed in one of the six bedrooms but without any other guests. Of all the hostels I’ve seen, Steel House is by far the nicest. I liked the contemporary design, the good shower and the fast Wi-Fi connection. Despite its central location, I didn’t have any issues with noise during my stay. In addition to the great design, Steel House has facilities like an indoor pool, cinema and gym, making it very different from your typical hostel. Together with Wake Up, Steel House is my preferred choice in Copenhagen for a comfortable stay with great value.
