My arrival experience: before being escorted to the room.
What I liked: The central location.
What about the food: Sipopo exceeded my expectations by far with their excellent food. Sofitel Malabo President Palace met my expectations. I tried several things on the menu, and it was consistently good.
What about the service: What I expected in a country like Equatorial Guinea. Slow but friendly.
What about the rooms? They are a little tired but almost up to Sofitel’s standards. Hermés product and a rainshower within the bathtub. Sipopo did not have a rain shower.

Type of property: City hotel.
Location: Malabo, Equatorial Guinea.
Facilities: Pool, gym and business/meeting facilities.
Complimentary internet: Yes, but slow. The Sofitel Sipopo has a much faster line.
My overall impression:Good+ experience. The overall experience is close to Sofitel standards but far from their Sipopo property, which I consider the best Sofitel hotel I have stayed in the world.
