Sheraton Asuncion Hotel

Sheraton Asuncion offers a comfortable chain hotel experience in Paraguay’s capital, blending convenience with comfort. Sheraton Asuncion is Asuncion’s only 5-star hotel. After many good experiences with Sheraton, I expected it would be a good experience, but I was excited to see the condition of the hotel. I arrived and received a warm welcome from the front desk. I was impressed with their kindness. Business hotels are usually professional, but few of them deliver a warm and kind welcome as Sheraton Asuncion did. As expected, I was not escorted to the room as this is very rare in business hotels.

Sheraton Asuncion has only 100 rooms which is very small for a Sheraton. It has great 5-star facilities including a club lounge I had access to as a SPG Gold member. My room was very comfortable with a soft bed, flatscreen TV, working desk and forest views. The service level was a very pleasant experience as well. My experience from check-in continued throughout the hotel with kind staff, and most spoke good English, which was surprising for this part of the world. The hotel works like a Sheraton should be. Everything works and is run very professionally by Starwood. Overall, it’s one of Asuncion’s best hotels and one I can highly recommend to book to anyone visiting Asuncion.
