My experience with the company started with communication via email with Bergur Joensen, the managing director. I arrived in the Faroe Islands, where it was easy to get to the car, and ahead were three nights in the Faroe Islands. The trip was very memorable for me. I visited the Faroe Islands with my wife and son, and it was very special to me. The first trip of my son was to one of the most beautiful places in the world.
I arrived after a great flight with Atlantic Airways, the national carrier of the Faroe Islands. The Faroe Islands are one of my favourite destinations in the world. Its stunning natural beauty, cleanliness, and friendly people make it one of the best travel destinations, especially for a road trip. The road trips I did were some of the most beautiful I’ve seen in the world.
One of the best decisions on the trip was to visit Suðuroy, the southernmost island of the Faroe Islands, on a day trip during my stay, which I can highly recommend. It’s cheap, DKK225 (approximately 30 Euros) round trip for a car including the driver. It is fantastic value for a two-hour ferry ride and the opportunity to explore the remote southern island by car.
Rent.fo emphasizes a hassle-free rental experience, with full insurance coverage and no hidden fees, allowing customers to enjoy their journey without concerns about unexpected costs. The company has a very impressive overall Google Reviews score of 5,0 out of 5.
The Faroe Islands are one of my favourite destinations in the world, and if I had to pick just one in the first place, it might be the Faroe Islands. It does not have mass tourism, it’s stunning, has fantastic people, excellent food, and is very clean and well-kept. I don’t know what the future will bring and if there will someday be a low-cost airline operating, but for now, it is an extraordinary travel destination.
