Collaboration: Nature Air
Nature Air, headquartered in San José, Costa Rica, was a regional airline known for its commitment to environmental sustainability. Founded in 2000, it was celebrated as the world’s first carbon-neutral airline, offsetting its emissions through reforestation projects. In 2004, Nature Ar became the world’s first carbon-neutral airline.
Nature Air operated a fleet of turboprop aircraft, providing domestic flights and connections to neighbouring countries. Renowned for serving remote destinations and scenic routes, the airline ceased operations in 2018, leaving a legacy of pioneering eco-friendly aviation practices in Central America.
I collaborated with the airline in 2012. The flights were very comfortable and quite an experience with stunning nature views from the plane. I thank Nature Air for the collaboration and being part of my travel project.
