Landgoed De Wilmersberg

Landgoed De Wilmersberg is a Dutch country hotel located in beautiful surroundings near the German/Dutch border. My experience started with a warm welcome before arriving in a clean and comfortable room with a nice decor.

Landgoed De Wilmersberg is not your typical country hotel. With 59 rooms total (12 small rooms, 43 Royal rooms, 2 Junior suites, 2 Royal suites), it is one of the bigger country hotels, but with facilities to match such as a wellness centre, tennis court and indoor swimming pool.

At the time of writing this article, Landgoed De Wilmersberg has an impressive score of 9,1 on Booking.com with couples rating it 9,6 for the location. I had a walk in their beautiful surroundings and it’s definitely one of the reasons to stay at this property.

Another reason is the food, and that is actually because of that I found the property in the first place. Landgoed De Wilmersberg is listed in the Michelin guide as a Michelin-recommended restaurant and it’s very well deserved.

The food is great at their restaurant, which is quite big for a Michelin-recommended restaurant, but probably part of the reason why they can keep their rates very reasonable. With room rates starting at only €110 for two with breakfast included, this country hotel is great value for money. I’ve stayed at a lot more expensive hotels that can’t match the experience of Wilmersberg. If you are looking for a place to relax in the Netherlands with great food in beautiful surroundings, I can definitely recommend Landgoed De Wilmersberg.
