My experience at Hotel Bareiss started with a warm welcome before arriving at a beautiful room with a comfortable bed, double sink, rain shower, double sink and complimentary Wi-Fi.

One of the standout features of Hotel Bareiss is its traditional architecture, which is inspired by the charming houses of the Black Forest. The hotel is built from wood and stone, giving it a warm and cosy feel that is ideal in keeping with its surroundings. Inside, guests are treated to a warm and inviting atmosphere, with comfortable furnishings, tasteful décor, and plenty of natural light.

In addition to its luxurious rooms and suites, Hotel Bareiss is also home to an array of first-class amenities, including the main restaurant, a 3-Michelin-starred restaurant, a bar, a spa, and a fitness centre. I enjoyed great meals at the main restaurant, where my special requests, due to a strict diet, were met with kindness and without any issues. The spa was lovely and of a very high standard. I especially liked swimming outside in the evening in the heated pool in beautiful surroundings. That felt very special and a reminder to myself that even after so much travel, travel is still one of the most exciting things in life.
