Hotel Praia Marina, Praia da Vitória, Terceira

Terceira is a beautiful island in the Azores in the Atlantic Ocean. It has stunning nature, a UNESCO World Heritage Site town and extremely friendly people, but it does not have world-class hotels. Instead, it has a number of comfortable hotels and of these, Hotel Praia Marina, was one of my choices during my 2019-visit to the island.

My reasons for selecting Hotel Praia Marina were the impressive reviews. Not only a 4,5/5 rating on Tripadvisor, but also a great  9,1/10 rating a Booking.com. It’s not difficult to understand why people like this hotel. First of all a nice comfortable room with a wooden floor, a bed, sitting area, small kitchen, table and chairs. A complimentary bottle of water, complimentary internet access and a good location in the town of Praia da Vitória. The service at the front desk was very kind, and I am sure that makes a difference in the high score. A good stay at one of the best places to stay on Terceira.
