Hotel Pat Inn, Ogasawara

Ogasawara is a Japanese territory in the Pacific. This island has approximately 2,300 inhabitants. About 3,000 live on the territory total including the other islands. I did some research on places to stay on the main island and decided to go for Pat Inn Hotel & Restaurant.

After approximately 25 hours by ferry, I arrived on the island and was picked up by the hotel. I received a warm welcome and was impressed with the Japanese-style room they gave me. Photos are below. Hotel Pat Inn is a lovely small family-run property designed by  Kichi Architectural Design. Pat Inn Hotel & Restaurant has created a beautiful little hotel and offers a Japanese breakfast, beautiful contemporary rooms and friendly service on a fascinating island.

It’s a unique experience when I compare it to the many hotels I’ve stayed in around the world when it comes to the design and the experience. The staff are very friendly and I highly recommend this place to stay for anyone visiting Ogasawara.
