Hostal dos Reis Católicos, also known by the name of Parador de Santiago is one of the best places to stay in this historic town. The hotel was constructed as a religious work in 1486 and is widely considered one of the oldest operating hotels in the world.

My experience started with a warm welcome and a hotel porter escorting me to the room. I stayed in a room with a classic design, complimentary internet, twin beds, and a modern bathroom with a combined shower and bathtub. The service at the property is very good and the property delivers at a hotel that combines history and comfort. The building itself and the outdoor area of the hotel are enjoyable to explore while staying in it overnight is quite an experience. This hotel is highly recommended for anyone looking for a historic and comfortable hotel to stay in while visiting the stunning town of Santiago de Compostela.
