Henningsvær Bryggehotell – by Classic Norway Hotels

Henningsvær Bryggehotell – by Classic Norway Hotels is a stunning new hotel in Henningsvær, Lofoten, above the Arctic Circle, which opened earlier this year. This 39-room hotel is located along the waterfront with stunning views of the surrounding fjords and mountains. I arrived excited to see how good this new hotel could be.

My stay started with a warm welcome from an Irish receptionist before being escorted to my room. The room was beautifully designed in a Scandinavian style, was very clean, had a comfortable bed and an impressive shower. The room also had a separate sitting area and a beautiful view. I was very impressed with the room which was one of the best I have stayed in this year.

After visiting Lofoten I now consider it one of my favourite destinations in the world. It is really that special. Henningskjær is a small fishing village I enjoyed working around and it is a little experience in itself, although it is ideal as a base to experience Lofoten by car. Lofoten has stunning landscapes and a lot of natural beauty to experience as well as the Northern Lights being a highlight.

What made Henningsvær Bryggehotell a really great hotel was the comfort level and the service. The public areas are beautifully designed as well and I enjoyed two great breakfasts which had impressive buffets on both days of my two-night stay.

The staff are very accommodating and service-minded and when you combine those two with one of the most beautiful destinations in the world, it ends up being very impressive. I highly recommend staying at Henningsvær Bryggehotell for a trip to Lofoten. It has an impressive guest satisfaction score on Booking.com of 9.1, which in my opinion is very well deserved.
