Collaboration: Germania
Germania was a German airline founded in 1978 and headquartered in Berlin. It operated scheduled and charter flights, serving over 40 destinations across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East. Known for its reliable service and competitive pricing, Germany catered to both leisure and business travellers.
The airline’s fleet consisted primarily of Airbus A319 and A321 aircraft. Despite its efforts to expand and modernize, Germania faced financial difficulties, leading to its insolvency and cessation of operations in February 2019. During its four decades of service, Germania was recognized for its friendly customer service and contributions to the German aviation industry.
I collaborated with Germania in 2012 where they flew me from Erbil to Munich. The flight was comfortable and with quite good food compared to other airlines.
