Four Seasons Hotel Bogota
Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá is a luxurious hotel situated in the heart of Colombia’s vibrant capital. Located in Zona T, also known as Zona Rosa, the hotel places guests within walking distance of Bogotá’s premier shopping centres, upscale boutiques, lively nightlife, and an array of restaurants.
Having been to approximately 40 Four Seasons hotels in the past, I arrived with high expectations. I consider Four Seasons to be one of the best hotel brands in the world, which also includes Aman, Six Senses and Mandarin Oriental.
My stay began with a friendly check-in before arriving at the room. The hotel offers a selection of 64 rooms and suites, each designed with contemporary elegance and comfort in mind. Rooms are adorned with custom-made beds, down duvets, and pillows, ensuring a restful stay. The marble bathrooms feature rain showers. Modern technological conveniences include 55-inch flat-screen televisions, Nespresso coffee machines, and complimentary premium Wi-Fi.
My room had a beautiful design, but I didn’t like the strong scent which was throughout the hotel. I have health issues, including Multiple Chemical Sensitivity, and if you have it as well, this hotel would be best to avoid. I spent a tough night on the bathroom floor to minimise the exposure to the chemicals. I didn’t expect to have this issue at all at a Four Seasons, but now I know that no matter how good a hotel is, it is best to check beforehand if they spray or have a scent system in the room or floor. Since they do it, I would think it must not be a problem for the vast majority of guests.
Guests can indulge in a culinary journey at the hotel’s on-site restaurant, which offers a variety of international and local dishes, including local ingredients. The dining experience can be complemented by an extensive selection of wines and cocktails. For relaxation and rejuvenation, the hotel’s full-service spa offers a range of treatments where guests can enjoy massages, facials, and body treatments. The hotel features elegant, light-filled function rooms suitable for social events and business meetings.
Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá is offering twice-daily housekeeping, 24-hour in-room dining, and a multilingual concierge. Additional amenities include a fitness centre equipped with the latest exercise equipment, babysitting services, and complimentary overnight shoeshine service.
The hotel’s prime location allows guests to easily explore Bogotá’s cultural and historical attractions. The nearby Zona T area is renowned for its vibrant atmosphere, featuring a mix of high-end shopping, art galleries, and entertainment options. The hotel’s concierge team is available to assist with personalised recommendations and arrangements to enhance the Bogotá experience.
