Collaboration: Fly540
Fly540, founded in 2006, is a low-cost airline headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya. It serves domestic and regional destinations across East Africa, including Kenya, Uganda, and South Sudan routes. Known for its affordability and efficiency, Fly540 operates a fleet mainly comprising ATR and Bombardier aircraft. The airline has played a crucial role in enhancing connectivity and promoting economic growth in the region. Fly540’s focus on customer satisfaction and safety has made it a preferred choice for travellers in East Africa.
I flew with Fly540 in 2013 from Nairobi to Juba in South Sudan, the world’s newest country, and back to Nairobi. Nairobi was also the best place to obtain a tourist visa for South Sudan as there aren’t any requirements besides two passport photos and a yellow fever certificate.
Both flights were on time, and the aircraft were comfortable, clean, and with very kind staff at both airports. Although Juba is a very expensive destination and the flights are costly, Fly 540 is highly recommended, and I thank them for their collaboration.
