Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers
My Arrival Experience: Let me begin with the only negative thing about this hotel. Checking in took a lot of time, with many people arriving simultaneously and only two receptionists. After all, this is Denmark, not Thailand, where you can hire many receptionists.
What I loved: Many things, including the design, the great free internet, and the high-quality organic products at the breakfast buffet.
What About the Food: There are organic products at the breakfast buffet. You don’t see that often, even at the world’s best hotels. I found the breakfast buffet to be much better than many 5-star hotels I have stayed at around the world. They don’t try to be cost-effective but instead give you a great start to the day.
What About the Service: The front desk offers friendly, professional service. The only problem is that you sometimes have to wait.
What About the Rooms: These beautiful, contemporary rooms are perhaps the best I have seen from Crowne Plaza, together with their property in Rosebank, Johannesburg. The bed could be softer, but it is comfortable. My room also had a flat-screen TV, a working desk, a sitting area, and a combined shower and bathtub.
Number of Rooms: 366
Type of Property: Airport hotel.
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark.
Facilities: Gym, business and meeting facilities.
Complimentary Internet: Yes, and fast.
My Overall Impression: Great experience. Defining the line between luxury and a full-service hotel is hard. Although Crowne Plaza might not technically be a luxury hotel, I found the experience to be better than many 5-star luxury hotels and surely belong in this category of my website.
