Collaboration: Astra Airlines

Astra Airlines was a Greek regional airline that sadly ceased operations in November 2019. Founded in 2008, they served 37 destinations, mainly focusing on domestic routes within Greece. Their hub was Thessaloniki International Airport, with Athens also featuring prominently. Though short-lived, Astra Airlines offered connections between popular tourist destinations and major Greek cities with a fleet of around 4 aircraft.

Thessaloniki-based Astra Airlines is the latest airline to join my project of visiting all countries and territories. Astra Airlines launched operations in 2008 and connects Thessaloniki with various destinations in Greece.

Astra Airlines flew me from Kalamata to Thessaloniki and then to Corfu. Both flights were on time and had free soft drinks onboard. The seats are among the more comfortable I have experienced on a plane and were very clean as well.
